My opinion:

Kayat Nasi Padang sells traditional Singapore Muslim cuisine including, lontong, Malay cakes, mee goreng, mee rebus, mee siam, mee soto, nasi briyani and nasi lemak. For this food review, I have tried their nasi padang for lunch.

I chose beef, bitter gourd and fried chicken thigh with my rice. As I was a Chinese, the female owner asked me twice whether I wanted beef. That was good service as she was interested in her customers' well being instead of profits.

Beef meat was addictive, flavorful, juicy and tender. Bitter gourd was bitter, healthy, spicy and well cooked. Fried chicken thigh was big, delicious, warm but not crispy enough. Rice was a bit sticky and did not mix well with the gravy.

In conclusion, the food here was economical and tasty. If you are a mixed vegetable rice or nasi padang fan with a big appetite, Kayat is strongly recommended by my website.
