My opinion:

Lee Kee specializes and excels in traditional Singapore Chinese noodles. For this food review, I have tried their dry minced meat noodles for lunch. The owners were very generous with food ingredients. I was given 1 fried wanton, 1 steamed wanton, 1 large chunk of fish cake, 3 pieces of pork liver, few pieces of mushrooms, moderate amount of minced meat and huge amount of meepok.

Wantons were big but lacked the "wow" factor. The lone fishcake was delicious and huge but I would appreciate the food more if the owners cut it down to smaller pieces. Meepok was rough and did not mix well with the other food ingredients. The chili and noodle sauce were too mild tasting to add any bonus points to the food.

To sum up, the food here was cheap, plentiful but had a few flaws that prevented me from visiting them in the near future. Therefore, I will only recommend Lee Kee to Chinese noodles fans that have big appetites.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Add chestnut to the wantons, cut the fishcakes into smaller portions and thoroughly review the noodle sauce's preparation process.
