My opinion:

Selera Rasa sells traditional Singapore briyani and nasi lemak (do not confuse yourself with another nasi lemak stall in Adam Road Food Centre). This stall is very famous in Singapore east for their amazingly cheap briyani meals. When I visited this stall after lunch peak hours, their mutton briyani had already sold out. I had no choice but to try out their chicken briyani for around $3.00.

The female owners were generous in giving out ingredients. There were 1 packet of curry, 1 chicken thigh and large amount of rice. The amount of food could satisfy the hunger of 2 children.

Their curry was one of the best briyani curry that I ever tasted. It was flavorful, thick and filled with assam fragrance (super plus points). The curry ingredients included carrots, chicken meat, spices and vegetables. I never felt so shiok after finishing briyani curry, which had a reputation of being dull and sourish.

Most parts of the chicken thigh were juicy, tender and came with silky skin but certain portions were a bit rough and tough. Rice was well cooked and mixed well with the curry. The small amount of ah zha did not add any bonus points or flavor to the food but also made the rice a bit moist (minus point for me).

In conclusion, the food was damn cheap and shiok. I actually thought I had traveled back in time to 2005, when briyani was actually delicious and cost only $3.00. If you are a briyani, chicken thigh or curry rice fan, this stall's food is highly recommended by my website.
