My opinion:

Toast Hut sells traditional Singapore beverages and Chinese breakfast items. For this food review, I have tried their Chinese breakfast set 2 for around $2.50. There were 1 cup of coffee, 2 half boiled eggs and 6 pieces of bread with kaya.

Coffee was warm and its bitter taste was a bit too powerful (may be a minus or plus point, depending on individual tastes). Eggs did not have a pungent taste and were not too watery (major plus points). This was one of a very rare occasions that the owners got the timing right for boiling the eggs. Although bread with kaya was fragrant and came with a thin egg slice, it was not crispy enough.

To sum up, the food here was economical, tasty and had a few minor flaws that prevented this stall from greatness. If you are a foodie who hates awkward tasting half boiled eggs, Toast Hut is strongly recommended by my website.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, add more milk for the coffee beverages. Second, pat themselves on the back for using fresh eggs and getting the cooking timing right. Third, ensure the crispiness and warmth of the bread products.
