My opinion:

Toa Payoh Rojak is widely recognized by many Singaporeans as the best Chinese rojak business in our nation. In fact, this stall has more than 4 decades of experience in preparing this dish. Customers get to choose the $3.00 small option, the $4.00 medium option or the $5.00 big option for their rojak meals. For this food review, my mother and I have tried the medium option for lunch.

The owners were generous in giving us peanuts and sauce but miserly in the you zha kueh slices. Sauce was flavorful and thick. My mother claimed it was the best she had ever tasted (big compliment). You zha kueh slices were cold, rough and not crispy enough. Pineapple slices were delicious, juicy and sweet but there were only 5 of them!

In conclusion, my mother really adore their food but there were some question marks over the food quantity and you zha kueh roughness issues. The owners are strongly advised to add more you zha kueh slices and to ensure their crispiness. For Chinese rojak fans, this stall is a definite "must visit" if you ever travel to Old Airport Road.
