My opinion:

You Ji specializes in traditional Singapore desserts. For this food review, I have tasted their chocolate ice kacang and strawberry mixed fruits for tea break.

The desserts were quite lacking in ingredients. There were no atap chees in the chocolate ice kacang (a major minus point). They did offer some transparent jellies to offset the absence of atap chees. The jellies were soft and soothed the throat nicely (good for people with sore throat). Besides the jellies, there were only 2 longans, few pineapple slices, small amounts of red beans, sweet corn and rainbow sprinkles. Why do you put rainbow sprinkles on ice kacang? This was not bakery and did not contribute to the flavor (except increasing the costs for customers).

For the strawberry mixed fruits, the owners were slightly more generous with ingredients. Basically they just bought cans of mixed fruits from supermarkets, mixed a small portion of the fruits with shaved ice and strawberry syrup. Here's your dessert for $2.70! Seriously, that dessert should not cost more than 2 dollars. If you really need to buy anything from this stall, choose the hot desserts, stay away from the cold ones.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, improve their service. Second, remove rainbow sprinkles as an ingredient. Third, add more atap chees and fruits into the cold desserts.
