My opinion:

This Kovan hawker stall specializes in traditional Singapore Western food. For this food review, I have tried their pork chop for lunch. As I inspected my food portions, I found that the usual bun and butter were missing.

Pork chops were very juicy, soft, tender and among the best that I have tasted in recent years (major plus points). The owners were professional enough to pack the meat sauce in a separate container. This act ensured that the other food ingredients would retain their original tastes without mixing with the meat sauce. As I added the meat sauce to the pork chops, the combination did not work quite well. In terms of taste and texture, the meat sauce was not flavorful or thick enough.

Although the french fries were warm, they were too little and not crispy enough. Baked beans and salad were average tasting, moist and too few in portions to have any significant impact on the food's flavor.

In conclusion, the food here was delicious and had a few minor flaws that prevented this stall from greatness. If you are a meat lover living in Northeast Singapore, this stall should be able to satisfy both your hunger and craving for Western food.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, include a bakery item. Second, make the meat sauce thicker. Third, ensure the crispiness of the french fries.
