My opinion:

Thiam Kee sells traditional Singapore duck rice, duck noodles and kway chap. I have tried their $3.00 braised duck rice for lunch. There were 8 pieces of duck meat and moderate amount of rice in my takeaway packet. Duck meat was dry, lean and a bit rough. Yam rice was moist, sticky and did not mix well with the other food ingredients. Chili was too hot and strong-smelling.

In a nutshell, the food here was cheap but average tasting. If you are a duck rice fan living in northern or western Singapore, I will suggest you give this stall a miss.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Reduce the amount of water in the yam rice's production process. Check the ingredients in the chili's preparation process.
