Will I come back again in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives

My opinion:

Cheng Ji sells traditional Singapore duck rice, noodles, porridge and roasted delicacies. For this food review, I have tried their $3.00 braised duck rice for dinner. There were 6 pieces of duck meat, 7 pieces of tau kwa, half a marinated egg and huge amount of yam rice in my takeaway packet.

Although the pieces of duck meat were juicy, soft and tender, they were too little and too small sized to exploit this plus point. Egg and tau kwa were average tasting and not properly marinated. Yam rice was too oily and unhealthy. Honestly, I had to drink a cup of self brewed green tea in order to finish the food.

In a nutshell, the food here lacked essential ingredients and poorly prepared. Therefore, I will advise my blog readers to give this stall a miss and visit other duck rice alternatives in nearby coffee shops.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, they should add more pieces of duck meat to their food. Second, the yam rice preparation and production processes must be thoroughly reviewed. Third, less oil should be used in cooking all the food items.
