Will I come back again in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives
My opinion:
Soy Good sells traditional Singapore beverages, desserts, grass jelly and soya products. Customers get to choose from 48 types of soya related food product. I decided to try out their soya bean curd with sea coconut for $1.60. The female owner was extremely rude. She behaved as though I was a beggar asking her for food. When I was handed the dessert, she told me the price was $2.00! That was dishonesty and you should not "seduce" your customers with fake price tags.
Let's move on to the food quality as most of my blog readers are really rich and do not care about costs. I was given a small bowl of soya bean curd with equally miserly amount of sea coconut. The soya bean curd was mild tasting and devoid of soya goodness. It was also one of the roughest bean curds that I ever tasted in recent years. At one point, I thought I was eating "sweet doufu". Sea coconut was extremely sticky and sweet. It was awkward tasting and did not mix well with the soya bean curd.
In conclusion, this stall has failed on service, food quantity and food quality. As of now, this was the only food nightmare I ever had in Circuit Road Food Centre (famous for cheap and shiok food). Honestly, it will take divine intervention or a miracle for me to visit this stall again.
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
Treat customers with respect and thoroughly review the desserts' preparation process.
