Will I come back in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives
My opinion:
KNS sells traditional Singapore Muslim food including briyani, mee goreng, nasi lemak, roti prata and thosai. This food company has several branch stalls throughout our island nation. For this review, My mother and I have tried their mutton briyani for dinner.
Even though we visited this stall during dinner peak hours, the rice was average tasting, cold and poorly cooked (some portions even stuck together). Ah zha, onion slices and pineapple slices were dry (plus point for not making the rice too moist) and greatly increased my appetite. Cracker was plain tasting and not crispy enough.
We found no enjoyment in the 10 mutton pieces as they were rough and tough. Curry was the "ultimate downfall" of the food. In fact, it was so salty and sourish that we had to wash the remaining mutton pieces with running water in order to finish the food.
In conclusion, the briyani here was expensive, lacking in ingredients and badly let down by the poor tasting curry. The owners are highly advised to review the curry and rice preparation processes. Unless you are a briyani or Muslim food fan, I will advise you to avoid this stall and visit Bedok Interchange Food Centre for better quality food.
