My opinion:
Jia Xiang sells traditional Singapore lontong, mee siam and nasi lemak. For this food review, I have tasted their mee siam for lunch.
The female owner was extremely generous in giving out ingredients. My bowl consisted of a full egg, fried mini shrimps, fried taupok, peanuts and soup. Adding fried mini shrimps to the food greatly increase it's aroma and flavor.
Fried taupok was very crispy and tasted like a crunchy snack.Their gravy or soup was sourish and spicy (this can be a major minus point for people who like sweet mee siam). I highly recommend mee siam fans to bookmark this webpage so you will not miss out on this Redhill food "diamond".
